Welcome to Courtyard II

Courtyard II is dedicated to upperclassman. This complex consists of private bedroom/ private bathroom, private bedroom/ shared bathroom and shared bedroom/ shared bathroom options. Each bedroom comes with internet, telephone and cable access. Amenities in this are include gated basketball court, coin operated laundry facility, access to the Courtyard I pool and volleyball area. Courtyard II also contains the University Village, Global Village and Second Year Experience learning communities.

Housing & Meal Plan Options & Pricing

Residence Life housing options are apartment-style with full kitchens and living rooms. All fees are per person/per semester. The prices include local phone service, internet/e-mail access, extended cable TV, all utilities, and basic furnishings. A meal plan is required when residing in student housing.

Learning Communities of Courtyard II

University Village

University Village is a living community in Courtyard II featuring private one bedroom apartments. Eligible residents for this community either must have lived in Residence Life for a minimum of two years or are twenty five years or older, a graduate student or are married with no dependents (one spouse attends CSU). All Courtyard II amenities are included plus scheduled health and safety inspections.

Global Village

Global Village is an international living community in Courtyard II. Residents of this community have a private bedroom/ private bathroom. All the amenities of Courtyard II are included. Residency is open to any member of the CSU community who has a shared interest in international affairs and cultures.

Second Year Experience

Second Year Experience (SYE) is a living community in Courtyard II that was created to help second year college students continue their transition to career- minded individuals. As a part of this learning community, students will participate in both on campus and community development programs that will promote social development, begin to make network connections and enhance their resume as they move forward in their college careers. Students will have the choice of either a private bedroom/private bathroom or private bedroom/shared bathroom option in Courtyard II.

Location and Driving Directions

From the main campus entrance exit left onto University Avenue. At the next traffic light (University/Gentian) turn right onto Gentian Blvd. Courtyard II is about ¼ of a mile on the right. It is the first apartment complex on the right.
